We are pleased to inform you that traditionally, as every year, a part of the team of Avicena Laboratory participated at the 26th European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases - ECCMID 2016, which was held from 09-12 April in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Dr. spec. Ivanka Hadji-Petrusheva Meloski, the head of microbiological laboratory in Avicena Laboratory actively participated at the congress with two poster presentations entitled "Prevalence of sexually transmitted pathogens in women undergoing assisted reproductive techniques" and "Prevalence and genetic distribution of human papilloma virus in women with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia ".
With record attendance so far, with more than 200 sessions, more than 100 workshops, over 20 educational workshops, the event represented a great opportunity to share current, and to introduce new trends and developments in clinical and industrial microbiology.
The whole group had the opportunity to enjoy the cultural and historical heritage of Amsterdam, visiting several significant places and buildings in the area.
