Avicena Laboratory participated in "INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM: PREVENTION, DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF CERVICAL CANCER"

Avicena Laboratory participated in "INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM: PREVENTION, DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF CERVICAL CANCER" which was held on May 10, 2019 in the Holiday Inn hotel in Skopje.

At the exhibition stand of the Avicena Laboratory, all present had the opportunity to get acquainted with the most recent tests with Multiplex real-time TOCE PCR technology for high-sensitivity and specific molecular detection and genotyping of 19 high-risk and 9 low-risk types of the HPV virus (Human papillomavirus). The tests are with internal control based on the detection of the human β-globin gene, which completely eliminates the possibility of false-negative results.

Besides this, the participants of the Symposium were informed about the other modern analyzes that are available in Avicena Laboratory, and are of importance for women's health aimed at preventing, improving the health and timely diagnosing various diseases and conditions.
