COVID-19: New lower price of the rapid antigen test

Dear customers,

We want to inform you that the rapid antigen test for COVID-19 from the world-renowned manufacturer Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics, which is available at Avicena Laboratory, has a reduced price and will cost 700 MKD.

This test serves to detect the nucleocapsid protein antigen of SARS-CoV-2 from a nasopharyngeal swab. The antigen is detected in upper respiratory tract samples during the acute phase of infection, and the test can also be used to screen asymptomatic individuals.

The test has a high specificity of 99.22% and is an approved travel test according to the World Health Organization list, in countries where entry with this type of test is approved.

The rapid antigen test is done without an appointment, and is available at the following locations:

Location 1 (Taftalidze)

Monday – Friday 07:00-19:00

Saturday 07.00-14.00

Location 3 (Tetovo)

Monday – Friday 07:00-14:00

Saturday 08.00-14.00

Results: In 30 minutes, with English translation.
