We inform you that in our lab is available new, comprehensive and highly sensitive test for molecular detection of causes of sexually transmitted infections for women.

The new panel on sexually transmitted diseases detects and identifies the 12 most common causes, including the HPV virus:

  • Chlamydia trachomatis;
  • Ureaplasma species;
  • Mycoplasma hominis;
  • Mycoplasma genitalium;
  • Trichomonas vaginalis;
  • Neisseria gonorrhoeae;
  • Candida albicans;
  • Gardnerella vaginalis;
  • Cytomegalovirus;
  • Herpes simplex virus types 1 and 2;
  • Human papillomavirus types 16 and 18 (individual detection).

Sample required: cervical swab or urethral swab
Results: 1 working day
Price: 5000 denars

The new molecular test for the causes of sexually transmitted infections is performed in all laboratories of Avicenna Laboratory without a previously scheduled appointment.
